Fashion lovers rejoice with Modcloth!

I want to share an awesome website that I happened across while looking for dresses online last week for an event I will be attending this week.
I cannot believe that I had not heard about it before especially when, after attempting to share my excitement with friends, many of them had already heard of the site.

I'm talking about Modcloth!!

They have so many great items to choose from. You can find all kind of different clothes from dresses, tops, bottoms, swimwear, outerwear, and intimates.

What has to be one of the coolest things about Modcloth is the Be The Buyer program. Modcloth is always adding new items, almost daily, and they need help deciding which clothing should be added so once you are signed up with Modcloth you can check out the incoming clothes thru Be The Buyer and click whether you love or not a certain piece and also add a small note as to why or why not. This helps modcloth sell items that they know the customers will love.

These are 3 of my favorite dresses. And they have such great prices, these three are under $60. They have a section of under $50 dresses, although some of the pricier ones can run up to $180. That is quite a bit of a splurge but I promise that they are super cute. They have an amazing return and exchange policy.
Modcloth is so popular and their items are so unique that they quickly run out of stock for many of the dresses but no worries as you can select the option to be notified the second it comes back into stock!

And what would a cute dress be without equally cute shoes? Modcloth carries a large selection of shoes from heels to flats to wedges to boots and sandals. You can find shoes that are vintage, quirky, sexy and one of a kind. No matter the shoe you choose, you will be the talk of the party.
Ready to complete the outfit? You can't go out without the perfect accessories to complete your look. You can choose from a wide array of jewelry, belts, cosmetics, wallets, keychains, tights, hats, and much more.
Another thing I love about Modcloth, is the absolutely adorable items they sell for your home. From kitchen and bath, furnishings, gifts and electronics. Like this super cute bird kitchen timer. You can spend hours searching through everything and not get bored.

There is also a blog you can check out for great ideas on DIY ideas and ideas for outfits. You can buy gift certificates for the birthdays, christmas, and graduation gifts. This is one gift certificate that will certainly be loved.

These opinions are 100% my own. Modcloth did not contact me or ask for me to write about them, I did so because I really love their site and wanted to share. I was not compensated in any way, shape, or form. All pictures are from the modcloth.com

WTF? Sex Secrets

What's your secret? Your deepest, darkest secret? The one that no one in the world knows, that would require you to move two towns over if anyone ever found out.

Everyone has secrets. Whether it's something small like getting a scratch on your parents car & blaming it on a hit and run or something bigger like stealing or something freaky like something you like to do sexually or have done in the past and are now embarrassed [or not] by it.

Well the trio know as WTFSexFacts have made a full size book of people's sex secrets.
Follow them on Twitter and/or their Blog

What's amazing about this book is that the material is raw! Real life secrets that will freak you out, gross you out, or maybe excite you!
This book is not for the faint-hearted or easily offended.

There is no way of course to tell who they come from as submitting the information is 100% anonymous, so if you have a secret go ahead and post for the world to see. Who doesn't like hearing about other's dirty little secrets?! And people are still, right now as you read this, posting their secrets so there is always something there for you to read.

Get a taste of what's in the book with some of the secrets on WTFSexFacts' Tumblr page

I will warn you, some of these secrets are pretty damn gross. I read a few that almost made me throw up and some that are just kinky or plain weird. It's pretty interesting though to see what things people find sexually exciting and it's sad to read about some of the things that people have been put through and felt they had no one to go to for help.
I'm pretty sure you have never read a book like this one. Or heard of some of the things that people claim to have done or want to do.

As nasty as some of the secrets are, I'm not going to lie, I loved reading it. I actually did the 'eeeeeeeeee' squeal when they asked if I would like a copy to review it. I honestly don't know of anyone who wouldn't want to read this, hmm maybe all the people I know are freaks... oh well ;)

You can purchase the book on lulu.com or amazon.com
[[and the price is incredibly affordable]]

Here are a few of the, 'tame', secrets that you will find in the book:

"[male, 18] A girl gave me a blow job in the middle of band class in one of the practice rooms while I played my instrument, when I was 15."

"[female, 19] I have a high sex drive. I have had sex with at least 16 boys since I was 14."

"[male, 18] I can't stop jerking off over Justin Bieber. I'm a boy. I'm worried that this means I will grow               up to be a pedophile."

"[female, 27] I like to perform oral sex on unwashed genitals. The dirtier the better."

**These opinions are 100% my own. I was sent a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

High Intensity Bullet

Another review! I actually have 3 others but don't know if I want my blog to suddenly become a sex toy review blog, not that I'd mind but then I would haven to add that adult content warning to it....

Anyways!!

My latest assignment from EdenFantasys was to review the High Intensity Bullet.

The High Intensity Bullet is a clitoral and nipple stimulator with a whole lot of buzz!

Measuring in at 3 1/4 inches, don't let the tiny size if this bullet fool you.
This is one strong little toy.
It has 3 different speed settings which are very easily controlled with a push button.
It doesn't have the awkward turn dial that some vibrators have that can easily be moved if your hand slips. It is powered by one N battery which comes included which is awesome
since I don't exactly keep a stash of N batteries.

This is one bullet that keeps surprising you.
First you think that something so small, that only requires one battery might not be strong.
Then you turn it on and after being amazed at the intense vibrations that come
off of it you realize that there is almost no noise coming from it.
It is super quiet!

It is also super tiny so you can easily store it anywhere, if it weren't for the bright color you could hold it in your hand and no one would notice.
Cleaning it is, wash it with antibacterial soap, a toy cleaner or rub it down with some rubbing alcohol. It is waterproof so you don't have to worry about it getting wet while washing (or using) it.

It is phthalates and latex free, and made of food grade material. Being that it is a silicone toy the use of a silicone based lube is not recommended. This makes a great beginner toy because of it's small size and 3 different intensity levels.

I stand with Planned Parenthood

I'm sure everyone has heard of Planned Parenthood. Some may have been to one whether it was for yourself, a sister, brother, or friend.

PPH is a clinic that provides free care for men, women, and teens.
You can get a free pap smear every year, FREE BIRTH CONTROL, advice, breast exams at the time of your pap, STD tests as well as being tested for HIV. You can get Gardasil, a series of 3 shots that protect against HPV, pregnancy tests and so much more.
Planned Parenthood also performs abortions. Yes, abortions.
That is why many don't like PPH. I personally don't believe in abortions, but I'm not getting into that right now. Another reason many parents don't like it is because, at least here in Cali, girls, and boys, can go in without parents consent if they at 13 years or older.
That's a pretty young age.

Planned Parenthood is so much more than an abortion clinic, then again you can go to just about any ob/gym for an abortion so I don't see the difference. And it's not like you just walk in and the do it that same day. Anyone looking for an abortion will be consulted, has to watch some videos, read some pamphlets, and have a thorough discussion with the clinician.

Planned Parenthood helps sooooo many people who can't afford insurance or whose insurance doesn't cover birth control.
It's for those whose parents didn't teach them to be safe, those whose parents aren't supportive, those whose religion doesn't allow it but they want to be safe and protected. It's for people to be treated if they happen to catch an STD or STI. Those who just need some real, proper and safe advice.

Planned parenthood will talk to you and work with you to see which birth control would be best for you. Be it the pill, depo shot, IUD, patch, ring, condoms. Any kind, they have it.
You will never be made to feel ashamed or embarrassed. Everything is strictly confidential and they even ask you which number is to contact you at or which address is ok to send information to in case they have to.

It is a great clinic and for it to lose it's funding would be a terrible thing. The reason it can be free for the rest of us is because of the government funding. I have been to planned parenthood many times and will continue to as long as it's there. I have two little ones and too many bills. I don't have health insurance of any kind so I don't know how I would be able to afford my birth control.
I'm medical assistant and the last place I was working at was a private doctor office but they were partnered with the PPH program and we had so many people come to be able to get their birth control and pap smears and they were able to get it free because of that. Women who would have otherwise never known that they have inflammation, or cysts or be able to get checked out because they couldn't afford health care. People who without it would not have been able to be treated of their STDs or to simply get checked to make sure they were clean.

If there is anything my money is going to be taken for from the government I want it to be used to help protect, educate, and treat men and women who really need the help.

I will be standing for Planned Parenthood and hope you will too!

The Year of the Rabbit

I'm a little late on it but I just found out this morning that 2011 is the year of the Rabbit.
And guess who's a rabbit? Yep, this Choolz right here! More specifically I am a Fire Rabbit.

It's no wonder why my 2011 has been pretty damn awesome so far, knock on wood lol.
I've had some really good money making opportunities come at me in this past month
and money itself has been something I haven't had to worry about.
Which is a huge blessing because a few months ago I almost broke down
not being able to even buy food.
And now I was able to pay off all of my medical bills :D
Things are also looking good for my husband.
Let's hope I didn't just jinx all of that...

A lot of the information I found that describes what a person born in the
year of the rabbit is like is pretty right on.

Here is a Chart that shows if you were born on a Rabbit year
29 January 1903 – 15 February 1904:  Water Rabbit
14 February 1915 – 2 February 1916:  Wood Rabbit
2 February 1927 – 22 January 1928:   Fire Rabbit
19 February 1939 – 7 February 1940:  Earth Rabbit
6 February 1951 – 26 January 1952:   Metal Rabbit
25 January 1963 – 12 February 1964: Water Rabbit
11 February 1975 – 30 January 1976: Wood Rabbit
29 January 1987 – 16 February 1988: Fire Rabbit
16 February 1999 – 4 February 2000  Earth Rabbit
3 February 2011 – 22 January 2012:  Metal Rabbit
22 January 2023 – 9 February 2024:  Water Rabbit
Find other Animals/signs in the Chinese Astrology
To find out what the difference is between water, wood, fire, earth and metal read this article

Did you know that the Rabbit is considered a lucky sign?
Rabbits are private individuals and a bit introverted.
People born in the year of the Rabbit are reasonably friendly individuals
who enjoy the company of a group of good friends.
They are good teachers, counselors and communicators, but also need their own space.

According to Chinese tradition, the Rabbit brings a year in which you can
catch your breath and calm your nerves.
It is a time for negotiation.
Don't try to force issues, because if you do you will ultimately fail.
To gain the greatest benefits from this time, focus on home, family,
security, diplomacy, and your relationships with women and children.
Make it a goal to create a safe, peaceful lifestyle, so you will be able to
calmly deal with any problem that may arise.

Sephora Haul

Last week I made trip out to the mall, which I haven't done in a long time, and the first thing I did was run to Sephora! Sephora, the makeup junkies paradise. Walking in there makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. I never know where to start or what to grab. I want it all.
You can find anything beauty related in this store. And the girls who work there are so nice, I love it.

I'm so excited about what I bought that I wanted to share it and do a post about it :)
Here goes!!!

1. Dr. FeelGood from Benefit - I've wanted this for a long time. It is a balm-like cream that is applied to the face before or after makeup(I prefer before) to reduce appearance of fine lines and, most importantly, give the skin a matte appearance. I have combination skin which means I have an oily t-zone and after awhile my forehead and nose start to look shiny. I hate that. I've heard some good reviews about Dr. FeelGood and I love Benefit Cosmetics so I wanted to give this a try. It left my skin soft and isn't heavy. It is truly clear, I couldn't tell at first if I had even applied it.
It doesn't of course, hide all shiny-ness but I did notice a significant difference, I only had to blot my face once or twice. I'm impressed and do recommend this.

2. Sephora eyelash curler - What girl doesn't want to have big, full, long, curly lashes? I know I do. Unfortunately for me I don't have very long lashes at all and on top of that they don't like to curl. I've
gone through many several curlers and none have worked for me. I have stubborn lashes, they fall flat after about 15 minutes. I'm not kidding, they just don't stay curled so I always end up wearing falsies. Not that I'm complaining, I love wearing them, they make me feel girly, flirty, and pretty. But I don't want to wear them everyday of course so a good curler is needed. I believe I have found my perfect eyelash curler. The Sephora brand curler. The second I held it, I knew it was going to work. The shape, and opening are different from other curlers I've used. And when I close it on the lashes it has a very firm grip and three squeezes leaves my lashes completely curled and looks pretty awesome. I'll definitely be sticking to this one.

3. Sephora dual pencil sharpener - I haven't had a sharpener in quite some time. I rarely use pencil anything for makeup so there was no need. I'm more of a liquid liner kinda girl. But I recently found some really good pencils from Rimmel London and Sephora (see item #4) that work amazing as base colors. There isn't much I can say about this, it's just a sharpener but it works well. My pencils haven't been caught by the razor or been broken while sharpening and it stays closed so I don't have to worry about it spilling everywhere.

4. Sephora eyecream stick in white - Not so much love here! It has slight shimmer to it and it applies so smoothly and is really easy to blend and I was hoping to use it as a base color to make my eyeshadows pop more. But, it creases horribly after a few hours, even with primer. I was not happy at all with it. It could work as a liner on your lower lashes but on you eyelids it's not worth it at all. Time to keep looking.

5. Makeup Forever Concealer - a.maze.ing!! This concealed is my life saver. I love love love it.
I had my eyebrows tattooed several years back and the girl messed them up. Bad. They're black instead of brown, the arches don't match, one almost hits my nose and the tails are too long. Believe me it's horrible what she did. While I save up to get laser removal I need a concealer that will cover and stay put. I've tried so many different kinds, I'm talking over 15+ concealers and none have worked except for one from Clinique. But this one is waterproof, light, and blends in perfectly to my skin. It hides the tattoo so well. It's great also for dark circles or discoloration on the face. This is an amazing concealer, I wish I could kiss the person who invented it!

6. Clinique Perfectly Real powder in 116G - my favorite powder. What can I say? It's awesome. Perfect color for me, light but with great coverage. Smooth to apply. Overall greatness. It leaves my face looking soft and blends really well. I've been using this for a long time and it doesn't allow any oil or shine to break through like the MAC studio fix. I highly recommend it!

120 eyeshadow palette

For the longest time I've wanted one of those 120 eyeshadow palettes you see on eBay.

My mom bought one about 3 years ago and it looks so awesome with so many colors but I just never got around to getting one. Now it seems as though everybody has them.
I finally bought mine for Christmas. The first place I was going to check out was from Sedona Lace. They sell a 120 palette and some 88 palettes as well as brush sets. I've read so many good reviews on Sedona Lace and they're pricing is good. Only $28 I believe for the 120. But then I found some on eBay for $11. The exact same colors, in the exact same order of placement on the palette only it comes from china. Fine with me. I went with the eBay one.
Hey I was a little broke from so much shopping.
The colors are amazing. So many bright colors, so many options. I immediately knew which I wanted to mix, blend and try out. From bright yellow to soft pink to rose red, ah, it's awesome.
I've always been a MAC girl so I like my eyeshadows to be bright, pretty, smooth and blendable.
I was really impressed with eyeshadows. While they aren't as pigmented as MAC colors they have enough color to them and it's great for people who are experimenting with color or are afraid to use color.
The palette arrived very nicely packaged with a lot of bubble wrap so luckily no color was broken.
And the case is not too big either. I really do recommend this palette to anyone.
Next I will be getting one of the 88 palettes and my dilemma is do I want the matte, shimmer, or metal...

The Miraculous Bra

We all know the Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale has been going on. It ends in about 4 days. I have been in major need of some new bras. The last time I bought a bra was when I was pregnant with my littlest one and he's 1 and a half.
Yikes!
Here was my chance to get some VS bras for a lower price yay me. So I immediately, well not immediately, ran to my computer and browsed their site for some bras.
Now. I'm not exactly flat chested. I'm a 34D. 34D is actually not that big but it's big for me because I'm about 120lbs and 5'3". I used to be super skinny before having kids. I was a 34A. I had nothing lol.
Anyways, after 2 kids my boobies grew along side my belly. While they're larger, they're not as..perky, as they used to be. No I don't have saggy nasty boobs but they have lost some elasticity {sadface}.
I wanted to get a bra with some lift and had heard that the Miraculous bra was the one for that. Ok well stupid me should have realized that the person who told me this was a size 36B.
When they say this bra lifts. Holy momma they're not joking. It has so much padding in it that my son could use it as a pillow. There is like 2 inches of padding in this baby. It adds up to 2 cup sizes!
That's a lot.
It makes my already large boobs HUGE! Hahaha my husband came home and was like 'oh Dios, que paso'. While I like it because they still look natural, on me. I don't know that it would work well on smaller busts. People aren't blind, they're will definitely notice the large increase in your bust area if you're an A or B cup. Not that it's a bad thing. I think that smaller chest women should 'work their way up' and start with regular padding to medium padding to more padding to this. Believe it's a lot of padding. To the point that if u are going regular one day and then wear this one the next day people will think you got you're boobs done. It's that much of a change. So I say think carefully before buying this.
But apart from being so padded, it is comfortable! I thought my boobs were going to be spilling out on top but they don't. It doesn't poke or feel heavy. I do wish though that for bigger sizes like mine that the straps were a little thicker.
I say go try it out! It would be the perfect bra for someone who needs to fill out that certain dress on top or wants to look bigger, duh! Lol.

BTW, I believe 34D is the highest it goes in. Trust me, bigger ladies will not want this much padding!

Teen Mom

I am not one to normally judge other mothers. Every parent raises and disciplines their children their own way. They do what's right according to their lifestyle and beliefs.
I, too, became a mom at a very young age. I'm 23 and I have a 4 year old... But I consider myself to be a great mom. My boys, well my oldest because my younger son is only 1, are pretty well behaved. He says please and thank you. He eats as much vegetables and fruit and he would like to eat candy lol. He knows how to share and is considerate of others.
I have no problem with spanking but I rarely ever do it. I have always been able to keep myself under control and talk to them rather than loose it and start screaming. I am married but my husband works and goes to school and is in the military so I'm alone a lot. I still don't loose it.
Teen mom. Ugh, I hate that show. Yes, hate.
My sisters and friends love watching it and I cringe just at the very thought. It's horrible. I'm sure they made that show with the intention of showing how hard it is to be a teen mom but it seems like teens are not seeing it that way.
Watching that shows saddens, angers, and upsets me. I feel so bad for those little babies. I have a major soft spot for babies and I absolutely can not stand to see any be ignored and neglected like those girls do on that show. I've only seen about 3 episodes from the first season and
oh. em. gee!
Letting a one year old wander around the house alone when there is a huge staircase, leaving the baby alone in the sink while the mom walks into another bedroom. WTF is wrong with these girls.
I find it sad that so many teens find it to be almost like a trend. It's disgusting. They're babies not little dogs you dress up and carry around. I think that there should be so much more sex education for teens in high schools and not just that. Some form of baby education because we all know having sex is something that is going to happen. Teaching them to be safe should be priority in high school. And parents should be more involved. All those parents who think they're perfect little Johnny or Sue aren't engaging in that behavior need to think again. Support starts in the home and it's obvious a lot of these girls aren't getting that. We need to find a way to get teens to realize there is help out there and many other options.

Passion Party

I'm totally stoked because I am going to be throwing a(nother) passion party next month.
I've had about 3 or 4 and I love them. They are so much fun.
I love getting together with all my friends and having a girls night
playing with buying a bunch of sex toys, having a few drinks and just goofing off.

What could possibly be more fun than that?
Oh yea, when you get use them that night ;)

I think every woman, single or in a relationship, should have a few toys stashed in her naughty drawer. They can bring so much more passion into the bedroom or allow you to have some fun
if you happen to be alone.

My 2 favorite places to shop:

There are so many places you can buy things & the awesome thing about
purchasing online is that no one has to know.
When it arrives it's usually always in discreet packaging so no snooping neighbors or kids!
I really like the selection at Eden Fantasys. There is such a huge selection at Eden Fantasys.
 I highly recommend that site!!
And now that I am planning another passion party it has me wondering if Eden Fantasys
would ever consider getting into the sex toy party business.
I would book one from them in an instant. Maybe if I start a petition... hmmm!
But, for now, I am excitedly waiting for the day of my party to come around.
And I'll post about what I decided to get and what I think of it!!

How to grow hair longer. Tried & true at home remedy!

I went yesterday to get my hair cut and I haven't had my hair cut in about 3 years!! Yes 3 years.
I've always loved long hair. I love femininity, pink, and amazing, long, thick, lustrous hair.
At the end of 2007 I got this insane insane idea about having really short pixie hair.
Don't ask,  I guess I just wanted to see how it would look on me.
(not very good I should add)
So the hairstyle itself was...ok.
The girl made it shorter than I wanted but what was I supposed to do?
It was already chopped off, I couldn't so anything about it anymore.
So I'm glad I did it, to get it out of my system to have short hair.
But it nonetheless left me a little bit...traumatized. I will never again have short hair. Never. Never Ever!

I decided to not get haircuts because every single time I go they cut too damn much.
Yes, I know the ends are fried, a little, but I don't care.
I don't like having hair that is shorter than where my boobs are. And my boobs are not small.
Well that sounded bad, they're not at my knees but I'm sporting in the Ds so you get the idea.

ANYWAYS!

I'm glad I got my hair cut, I wanted to add some layers for more volume & fullness and well my ends were really, really bad.
Really bad!
She only took off about 3 inches but to me that was like 3 feet.
My hair now barely reaches my, uhm nipples, so it's still long but not long enough.
My hair is softer now, and bouncy, and voluminous, and just plain bouncy.
I love it.

Now to get to the POINT of my post!

The lady who cut my hair has been cutting hair for over 25 years.
She told me that to get my hair to grow faster and stronger that I should crush birth control pills, put that in my shampoo, any shampoo, and let it sit for awhile so that it fully mixed with the shampoo.
When I shampoo my hair I should let the shampoo sit for about 5 minutes so that
my scalp and hair can absorb it.
At first I thought hmmmm, uhh, QUE
But I went along with it. I later asked my mom what she had used to grow her hair.
My mom had her hair as short as Posh Spice's pixie cut and in about 3 months it was at her shoulders. NO JOKE!
She told me she was crushing birth control and adding it to her shampoo!! :-O

I will now be trying that! I'm going to take a before and after picture and do one, two and three months to see if it really works!!
Stay Tuned :)
